Jonathan Miller FCA
Jonathan joined the Group in 1991. He was appointed Finance Director of the Group’s retail businesses in 1998 and Chief Financial Officer in 2004 at which time he also assumed responsibility for Human Resources, Information Technology and Store Development. Following a successful career at the Company with a track record of delivering results, Jonathan was appointed CEO in April 2016.
Simon Fuller FCA
Chief Financial Officer
Simon joined McColl’s in 2015 as Deputy CFO and in April 2016 he was appointed CFO. Before joining the Group, Simon gained significant financial experience at a senior level, most recently holding various Finance Director roles at Tesco, including Distribution & Supply Chain, Retail Operations, On-line and Trading. Simon began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he trained as a Chartered Accountant.
Chief Operating Officer
Dave joined the Group in 1998, initially as Regional Manager for convenience. He was appointed Operations General Manager in 2000, Operations Director in 2005 and Chief Operating Officer in 2014. He has overall responsibility for Store operations. Before joining McColl's, Dave worked in operational roles at Iceland and Southern Co-operative.
David Archibald FRICS
David joined the Group in 1993 and was appointed Development Director in 2006. As well as store development he is responsible for all aspects of estate management. Previously David worked at Independent Stores, Fine Fare, ASDA, Victoria Wine and the Ministry of Defence.
Human Resources Director
Karen joined the Group in October 2016. Prior to joining McColl’s, Karen spent 30 years with Tesco in a number of senior roles in Operations as well as in the People function including most recently People Director for UK Stores and Distribution. During her time with Tesco, Karen led two cultural change initiatives, the first focused on customer service, and most recently, the transformation programme for UK stores and Distribution.
Steve joined the Group as the Operations Director in 2016 and has responsibility for store operations across the estate. Steve previously spent 27 years with Tesco in a number of roles including Store Director and New Store & Refresh Director, alongside senior positions held in Regional HR, General Merchandise On-line and a comprehensive background in Store Operations.
Steven Green ACMA
Retail Finance Director
Steve joined the Group in May 2016 as Finance Director. Prior to joining McColl’s, Steve spent 14 years with Tesco gaining experience across a variety of finance roles in their UK and international businesses, including Trading, Operations, Logistics, Marketing, Treasury, and most recently as Group Financial Controller for Tesco Malaysia.
Information Technology Director
Neil joined the Group in 1993 as Field Support Manager becoming Information Technology Manager in 1997 and Information Technology Director in 2011. Before joining McColl's, Neil worked at Dexham Shops and Royal Doulton.
Peter originally joined McColl's as Buying Director in July 2011, having previously been Group Trading Director at SPAR UK Ltd. Prior to this Peter worked as Director of Trading at Big Food Group and Group Buying Director at Booker PLC.
