This provides a healthy alternative to shop bought baked beans.
Onion – 1 chopped
Garlic clove – 1 crushed
Chopped tomatoes – 200g tin
Butter beans – 400g tin
1) Melt a large knob of butter in a frying pan.
2) Cook the onion and garlic until soft.
3) Add the tomatoes and a tablespoon of water and simmer until it has thickened (about 10 minutes).
4) Add the beans and heat them through before serving.
